Bradey Named Spartanburg Executive Officer
The Home Builders Association of Greater Spartanburg has named Jennifer Bradey as their new Executive Officer. Bradey is a native of Spartanburg and returns to South Carolina after more than four years in Washington, DC.


HBA of SC, Charleston Trident HBA Win Association Excellence Awards
The HBA of South Carolina and the Charleston Trident HBA recently received an Award of Excellence from the Executive Officers Council (EOC) of the National Association of Home Builders. The HBA of SC won for Best HBA Website and the Charleston Trident HBA won for Best Communication to Members – Magazines with its ToolBox magazine.

SC Housing Hall of Fame: Accepting Nominations Now!
The HBA of South Carolina is currently accepting nominations for the South Carolina Housing Hall of Fame. Established in 1995, the S.C. Housing Hall of Fame honors individuals who have made a lasting contribution to the housing industry through their work in building and development, public service, and housing-related areas such as education, architecture and planning.

Anderson, York County Builders Become Certified Master Builders
Joey Carter of L. Carter, LLC in Williamston and Karen Harris of Harris Construction in Rock Hill were recently named the newest Certified Master Builders (CMB) by the Master Builder Committee during the state convention. Carter is the first CMB for the HBA of Anderson and Harris is the HBA of York County’s first female CMB.
