Columbia Home & Garden Show Brings Big Names in Gardening and Green Construction
The 42nd annual Carolina Classic Home & Garden Show is coming to the SC State Fairgrounds March 14 – 16. In addition to over 300 exhibitors showing the latest in home building and home improvement products and services this year, attendees looking to gain a more in-depth look at new home construction, remodeling, gardening, green building and more will be able to attend free seminars offered throughout the show.
Gardeners won’t want to miss popular writer and speaker, Master Gardener Linda Cobb as she presents Annuals and Perennials: Getting Ready for Spring, at 11:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 15.
If you’re interested in learning more about green building and remodeling, there are seminars scheduled each day of the show to give you more information on the subject.
The Green Building Council of Greater Columbia will present Build Your New Home Green on Friday and Sunday of the show. On Saturday, March 15th the council along with Remodeling Services Unlimited and A-Therm Remodelers will have nationally recognized remodeler and green builder Michael Strong, CGR, GMB, CAPS plus local builders and remodelers present Alive, Green and Well: Building and Remodeling Green.
