I-9 Forms Required for All Businesses

According to David Crump, Counsel for NAHB, members need to be aware that as of December 26, 2007 all new employees must fill out the new I-9 form introduced in 2007.

There will be a penalty up to $500.00 for non-compliance. I-9’s for existing employees will remain on forms filled out at the time of employment. Go to www.uscis.gov for online handbook, directions and copy of form.
