Thompson, HBASC Renovation Project Wins Local Award

Congratulations to Tony Thompson of Remodeling Services Unlimited for winning a RCA Award in the Commercial Renovation Over $150,000 category for the Home Builders Association of South Carolina office renovation project.

The HBA of SC is located in the historic area near the USC Horseshoe in Columbia. The old house was added to and remodeled many times over the years, but not as extensively as this last time. Remodeling Services Unlimited gutted the entire space, shored up construction problems from previous work done, fixed all of the major systems and put walls back to square and plumb. The result is a functional and eye-appealing office and meeting space for the association.

The HBA of Greater Columbia’s Remodelers Council holds the RCA awards to recognize outstanding work by members of the Remodelers Council of Greater Columbia in the areas of whole house remodel/additions, kitchen, bath, outdoor living, and interior design.
