A money-making scam has reached many of our members under the NAHB and HBASC names. A postcard or letter, which appears to be from the NAHB and the HBASC, has been sent to members asking for contact information, business information, and membership dues.

President Bush Signs Landmark Housing Bill Into Law
Landmark housing legislation signed into law by President Bush is aimed at ending the current cyclical downturn in the housing industry, helping home buyers and strapped borrowers and strengthening the housing finance system, according to the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).

Remodelers can now enter the annual Pinnacle Awards. The Pinnacle Award Committee created four new categories just for remodelers, and they opened up all of the categories to include attached and detached homes.
