Columbia HBA Announces 2008 Parade of Homes Critics’ Choice Award Winners

The 2008 Parade of Homes, presented by the Greater Columbia Home Builders Association, is going on now through November 2nd at the Saluda River Club in Lexington, SC. Just before the gates opened to the public, a panel of judges from around the state met at the site and walked through each entry to decide the winners of the Critics’ Choice Awards. Listed below are the official results.

The 2008 Parade of Homes features six new homes in the $650,000 to $1 million price range and all are fully decorated and landscaped. Homes were judged on a variety of criteria and awards are given for many different features.

Be your own judge! See the 2008 Parade of Homes entries now through November 2 at the Saluda River Club in Lexington. Take I-20 West to Exit 61, Hwy. 378. Turn toward Lexington. Take an immediate right on Corley Mill Road. The entrance to Saluda River Club is located 1.5 miles down Corley Mill Road on the right hand side. Hours of the Parade of Homes are 11 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. daily. Tickets are only $7 each, children 12 and under are admitted free.
