CMB Education Offered in Myrtle Beach; HBASC Education Calendar Updated

Anyone who wants to take advantage of the Horry Georgetown HBA’s Mid Winter Education Conference should act now to reserve a seat. The one-day conference will take place November 13 at the Crown Reef Resort Conference Center in Myrtle Beach.

“This is a great opportunity for Certified Master Builders and CMB candidates to fulfill their continuing education requirement,” said A.P. Neal, Certified Master Builder Committee Chairman.

Three customized courses will be held, providing a total of six Certified Master Builder education credits. Two NAHB courses will be given as well. Michael Strong of Houston, Texas, will be back in town teaching the NAHB’s Green Building for Building Professionals course, which is a two-day course, and the NAHB’s Business Management for Building Professionals, a one-day course. Not only can CMBs get the required continuing education at the conference, but anyone seeking the NAHB’s Certified Green Professional can also get the required education just by taking the two NAHB courses.
