SC Builders PAC Impacts 2008 Elections

The SC Builders PAC continued to achieve exceptional success during the 2008 election cycles, with 84% of the state-wide candidates that we endorsed and supported being elected. Our success starts with your donation to the SC Builders PAC. Through the resources afforded by the PAC we were able to sharpen our efforts by focusing on candidate recruitment and education, targeted grass root campaigning, polling and research. By supporting housing-friendly candidates early in the process, as well as, supporting our friends through more proactive non-traditional tools we were able to open the doors at the statehouse and we will remain one of the state’s most powerful political action committees.

While we now enjoy our success we must renew our efforts to build our PAC. If we want our elected officials to continue to consider our industry’s viewpoint when crafting legislation pertaining to environmental regulations, housing-related tax preferences, impact fees and a host of other concerns that impact your bottom line, then supporting the SC Builders PAC is crucial. Your donation will be used to turn the tide on the local and state levels. For more information about our PAC please visit our website.

I thank you because your efforts in the SC Builders PAC will continue to ensure that housing remains a top priority at the statehouse.
