HBA Spartanburg Charter Member Passes Away

Billy Joe “B.J.” Ivey, past president (1976) and charter member of the HBA of Spartanburg passed away Thursday, February 26, 2009. Funeral services for Ivey, 80, were held Saturday, February 28 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel with his burial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

Memorials may be made to Canaan Baptist Church, 701 Canaan Road, Spartanburg, SC 29306; to the Alzheimer’s Association, 901 South Pine Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302; or to the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
