Going To “Green” School

The Charleston Trident Home Builders Association and the Sustainability Institute are joining together to bring the first Green Educational Conference and Tradeshow to the Charleston region. Atlantic Green will feature 17 continuing education seminars on various topics related to green building, a 2-day tradeshow featuring products from national and local companies promoting sustainable products and services and Tours of LEED certified buildings/communities in the Charleston area.

Atlantic Green will be held January 19 & 20, 2009 at 10 StoreHouse Row in the Navy Yard at Noisette. This affordable conference will give home builders, developers, engineers, architects, realtors and others from around the region insight into current sustainable developments.

This educational conference provides attendees with an opportunity to tour many of Charleston’s historic structures, and also newer, more sustainable residential and commercial developments including: Mixson, The Navy Yard at Noisette, One Cool Blow and Oak Terrace Preserve.
