Home Builders Association Introduces “THE BIG DEAL”

The Home Builders Association of Greater Columbia plans to create a “Big Deal” of buzz about the local housing market this fall. From August 15th through October 31st homebuyers have huge incentives to get off the fence and make the decision to buy a new home.

The HBA has partnered with SCE&G, The State Newspaper, and Citadel Broadcasting to offer “The Big Deal”, a program that offers $1,000 toward the price of a new home from any of the participating builders. No questions asked, just present their coupon and receive an instant $1,000 toward the price of the home.

These days every little bit helps, but $1,000 isn’t the only reason to buy during “The Big Deal”. All homebuyers of participating homes will receive a package of housewarming gifts valued at over $3,000. Gifts include discounts on home maintenance items, flat screen TV or gift card for other home entertainment purchase, alarm system and more. Buyers are also entered into a grand prize drawing for $10,000 worth of furniture from Whit-Ash Furnishings, a $3,000 designer garage floor from Garage Tek or $250 air purifier system from Rainbow Authorized Distributors.

For first-time homebuyers the list of incentives grows considerably when taking the $8,000 tax credit into account. Buying now could result in over $20,000 in discounts and merchandise.

All eligible homes can be found on www.YourNewHomeUSA.com. The coupon and promotion details can be found on that web site as well as TheState.com, ColumbiaBuilders.com and CitadelBroadcasting.com.
