Three South Carolina housing markets have made Builder magazine’s Local Leaders top 50 list. The list shows the top 10 builders in each market and is sometimes used by investment analysts to track the progress of public builders around the country.

The Charleston/North Charleston market made the top spot of the three S.C. housing markets at number 35, while Columbia showed up at 41 and Greenville/Spartanburg at 42. The list, which details top builders, total permits, and market share, can be found in the September 2009 issues of Builder magazine or online at www.builderonline.com.
