Point of Sale Rally: CALLING ALL REALTORS®

Home Builders Association of South Carolina members are invited join the S.C. Association of REALTORS for their Point of Sale rally at the Statehouse on Wednesday, January 13. Lunch will be provided for those who RSVP.

The rally will focus on Point of Sale property tax reform and the fact that automatic assessments that take place when you buy or renovate real property, are dramatically increasing property taxes for South Carolina home and business owners. Because of this, the economic well-being of our state is suffering as potential homebuyers and business owners opt to take their investments and jobs to other states.

To help get our state’s economy back on track, you are urged to attend this event and ask for passage of House Bill 3272.

The rally will be held on the Statehouse steps starting at 11am, where you will be briefed on the day’s events and hold a press conference. Following the media event, join us on the Statehouse Grounds for a barbeque lunch. And after lunch, we’ll storm the Statehouse Lobby to discuss the issue one-on-one with Senators.

Don’t miss this important rally. Let’s show our legislators that REALTORS® are the strongest proponents of quality of life for South Carolina citizens and businesses, and we won’t let them suffer any longer.
