The Home Technology Alliance Offers FREE Webinar on Builder & ESC Collaboration

Join the NAHB’s Home Technology Alliance (HTA) for a FREE webinar on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 12:00-1:00 p.m., EST and earn 1 credit towards Certified Master Builder of South Carolina continuing education.

As home technology because a greater part of the home owning and home building experience, builders, remodelers and electronic systems contractors need to know the benefits of working together and what the Home Technology Alliance offers to help foster these professional relationships.

This program provides an overview of the NAHB’s Home Technology Alliance (HTA) The discussion will highlight the design and build professional’s involvement with today’s home technology and provide a summary of:

• The HTA’s, structure, mission, purpose and plans for the future
• The importance of collaboration and partnerships
• The benefits of participating in the HTA
• The benefits of home technology
• Myths and misconceptions about home technology
• How and why builders integrate home technology into their practice

The discussion will also feature a project overview, highlighting what roadblocks may occur and how to work around them.

The Home Technology Alliance (HTA) is a collaborative initiative of building industry professionals created to provide awareness and education and to serve as a trusted resource on the proper application of home technologies.
