HBASC Announces Builder/Associate of the Year Awards

The Home Builders Association of South Carolina (HBASC) is proud to announce the first ever state Builder of the Year and Associate of the Year awards, to be presented during the Celebration of Excellence awards banquet on Wednesday, June 23.

“Our members are dedicated to our mission of ensuring affordable housing exists, especially during these rough economic times,” said Mark Nix, executive director of the HBASC, “and we want to recognize those who go above and beyond the call of duty.”

Nominations for the awards will be left up to the local home builders association. Criteria include levels of participation in the local, state, and national HBAs; community involvement; industry involvement; achievements and other factors. Applications for the awards were sent to local home builders association executive officers.

In addition to the Builder of the Year and Associate of the Year awards, the SC Housing Hall of Fame, Pinnacle Awards, and local HBAs awards will be presented during the Celebration of Excellence. Tickets for the COE are $100 per person, or if you register for the state convention, COE tickets are included in the cost of registration.
