Hefty Awards for Membership Drive Winners
The 2009 Membership Drive, sponsored by Verizon Wireless, proved to be a huge success with national recognition for a few HBAs in a big way. Valuable prizes were given to the winning individual, team and HBA who exceeded in recruiting new members.
On the national scene, the Hilton Head Area HBA finished first in the country for the highest number of new members recruited by a local HBA during the National Association of Home Builders’ membership drive. The HBA of Greater Columbia finished third in the country, and the HBA of South Carolina finished third among state HBAs.

The Get Aboard Team won $500.
Most New Members Recruited by a Local HBA
Hilton Head Area HBA
They won $250 and the membership drive trophy.
