HBAGC Charitable Foundation to Build Home for Brian Denny
The Home Builders Association of Greater Columbia through the generosity of its members will build a home for the Denny Family. Brian Denny suffered a serious injury at work on March 15, 2010. Brian, an employee of Stock Building Supply in Columbia, had a C3/C4 injury. He currently is paralyzed from his shoulders down. Brian and his wife, Jessica, have two beautiful children, Kendall, 7 years old and Cooper, 5 years old.
The totally accessible home will be built in Fisher’s Woods in Northeast Columbia on a lot donated by C & C Builders of Columbia, Inc. and will be known as Lagniappe (pronounced LAN-yap) meaning "a little something extra" or "an extra or unexpected gift".
“We feel that the Lord has definitely given us a 'lil lagniappe by blessing us with this house - it's more than we ever dreamed, and we're so thankful," said the Denny's.
