Home Builders Association of Greater Columbia member Wade McGuinn has had a hand in the Haiti Children Project for the last ten years, in addition to running his home building business and being involved in the HBA. Actually, McGuinn has more than a hand in the Haiti Children Project. According to WLTX News, the CBS affiliate in Columbia, McGuinn is head of the Project.

When HBASC President Jim Gregory was asked to appoint a Convention Committee chairman, he wasted no time in appointing Lou Hutchings of GBS Lumber in Greer, S.C. Lou graciously accepted the challenge to lead the 2009 State Convention Committee and played an important role in making the convention a great success. Even though Lou suffered heart problems and underwent bypass surgery, he still managed to lead the Committee with the help of co-chair Marie Edlin. |
