The Home Builders Association of South Carolina is actively engaged with state, county and municipal officials and their staff to ensure your voice is heard. 

The HBA of SC agressively works to create a regulatory environment that is fair and predictable for the homebuilding and development industry.  Our efforts have resulted in landmark legislative successes and regulatory actions which create a better, more predictable business environment for your business.

The HBA of SC works with members and committees to identify, assess and respond to policies or proposals that impact homebuilders’ ability to offer affordable housing.  We fight to keep homes within reach of working families while meeting homebuyer's demand for value in quality neighborhoods. 

At the South Carolina State Legislature, our efforts have been successful on a range of issues including workers comp, ethics reform, coastal insurance, DOT reform and septic tanks.
