John is an advocate of continuing education and serves on the HBASC Education Committee and the Convention Committee, as well as other committees on the state and local levels, and he teaches builder workshops. The past Greater Columbia HBA Remodelers Council Associate Member of the Year is always available to lend a helping hand, whether it’s sponsoring an HBA event, serving on a committee, or offering helpful business advice.

A graduate of Old Dominion University, John earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Management and played baseball at Old Dominion. He’s a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. John has been married for 34 years and has three daughters and one son. He recently became a grandfather for the first time.

Before representing 2-10 HBW, John was vice-president of Northwest Savings Bank in Pennsylvania. He came to South Carolina with the bank and played an integral part in the development of Lake Murray by granting loans. Since 1998, John has been with 2-10 HBW covering most of South Carolina.
