If you’ve ever been tried to work or live in the middle of a renovation project, then you know how difficult and frustrating life can be.
Staff members at the HBA of Spartanburg are working through a renovation project of their own, but it isn’t as difficult or frustrating as it could be, thanks to the hard work of Buddy Womick. “The HBA staff hasn't moved out of the building and Buddy has done a great job making sure the HBA girls have been taken care of by keeping us free from construction debris and the dust that comes with it,” said Vee Daniel, executive director of the HBA of Spartanburg. Buddy Womick, owner of B.E. Womick Contracting and builder member of the HBA of Spartanburg, volunteered to supervise and coordinate the HBA of Spartanburg’s office renovation project. In addition to taking care of the demolition and ensuring staff can work through the renovation, Buddy is on site every day and makes sure subcontractors arrive to complete the job. “Buddy and his staff have spent lots of volunteer time with us over the last few weeks,” said Daniel, “and we’re grateful he agreed to see the job through.” Daniel says the renovation should be completed within the next four weeks or so. She also mentioned that in addition to volunteering his time on the office renovation, Womick is assisting the HBA of Spartanburg in developing a Remodelers Council. |
