Parade of Homes and Tour of Homes books feature information on participating builders and their featured home, including photos, rendersings, and floorplans. These books also feature advertisements from associate members, such as suppliers and service providers. Consumers can use the books as a guide during their walk through the homes.

Winner - HBA of the Greater Pee Dee

In 2009, the HBA of the Greater Pee Dee developed a new concept of presenting housing options in the Florence area to existing and new homeowners. The Showcase of Subdivisions featured areas of new construction in the Floreance area during a two-weekend public event. Local homeowners had the chance to talk to builders and real estate professionals in each of the subdivisions. The HBA of the Greater Pee Dee also published 32-page magazine specifically for the Showcase, but that can also be used as a relocation guide. The magazine featured articles that focused on regional data and other highlights of the Pee Dee, as well as information on the participating subdivisions.

Winner - HBA of Greenville

Builder Review Online is a weekly e-newsletter that is sent to all Greenville HBA members, Sales and Marketing Council of the Upstate, and prospects and subscribers. It was developed as a redesign of an old e-newsletter to provide a more organized and interactive format for members to receive news. Builder Review Online provides up-to-date information on industry news, government affairs, and events in an easy-to-read, concise format.

Best Best Educational Program

Winner - HBA of Greater Columbia

The ABC's of Building is a hands-on educational program developed by the Sales & Marketing Council of Greater Columbia and association builder members. The two-day seminar breaks down the entire construction process from foundations to contract closing. The goal of the program is to give agents and industry professionals a better understanding of the product they are selling to prospective buyers.

Best Membership Promotion

Winner - Hilton Head Area HBA

Since 1999, the LightHouse Awards have been a coveted award program in the Hilton Head area honoring home building professionals for their demonstration of excellence and quality of craftmanship in the construction of homes. Entry is open to all builder and remodeler members of the HIlton Head Area HBA. Associate members are encouraged to contact the builder members to request entry of the homes featuring products and/or subcontracted projects.
